YOGA

Yoga is a group of physical, mental, and spiritual practices & disciplines which originated 5,000 years ago in ancient India, considering the birthplace of yoga. The goal of yoga is freedom, freedom from the self, freedom from the burden of life is a way of living, unless we learn to accept life as a whole, we haven’t learned yoga.

Hatha/Vinyasa Yoga

  • Hatha Yoga is a traditional yoga practice. Hatha yoga Involves Asanas (postures), Pranayama (breath exercises) and meditation.

    It is a slow gentle flow class, guiding the student into poses through body alignment/adjustments while respecting the body& limitations. Hatha Yoga is a good place to start for those who are new to Yoga with its associated benefits.

Vinyasa

  • Is a faster speed practice, moving with the breath, and consequently detoxifying the body. Is a great place for those who likes an intense challenging practice to sweat the body and enjoy the Savasana (resting) in the end.

Yin Yoga

  • Targets your deep connective tissues. It’s slower and more meditative, giving you space to turn inward and tune into both your mind and the physical sensations of your body. This practice is a passive yoga using support props to allow long holds and gravity to do the work.

    In Yin Yoga, we just surrender to the pose and let the body open, is a good choice if have an intense day, recovery day from intense body activities or just want to relax and feel your inner self.

    Anyone and everyone are welcome for yin yoga, that will make you experience the deeper self.

There are a variety of yoga schools, practices, and goals. Among the most well-known types of yoga are the traditional Hatha yoga (widely known as the seed of all modern yoga); Bhakti Yoga, Karma Yoga and Jnana Yoga ( part of yoga for devotions); Tantra and Rāja Yoga (meditation for the purpose of self-realisation, one of the most difficult path, requiring great self-discipline and practice); Nada Yoga, Path of union with absolute sound; Kundalini and Kriya Yoga ( yoga of physical action and energy cleansing)

  • The very word Yoga means unity. Unity of What? Self? God? The universe? It’s not just a union of our breath to our body, not just a union of our mind to our muscles, and certainly not just a union of our nose to the knees or our fingers to the ground, It’s all part of it.

    But is more a union of the Self, meaning this Self Identify as, The Supreme, The Universe, it’s an awareness that we are that.
